I had a date!

Not with Him…

But with this…

I had my yearly mammogram… It is my duty to get my ta tas checked… Breast cancer runs in my family, so I have had this done since I was 35. You would think that I would be used to doing this, but it is a bit uncomfortable. I get to my local hospital and check in and had to sit next to this…Add Image

If anyone needs an X-Ray of any type everyone sits together... I freaked out a bit, and didn't know why they had a prisoner sitting with the general public, but they did.

I finally get called back… The technician is getting my ta tas ready and tells me to hold my breath and runs to take the picture. She soon realizes that there is no film in the mammogram machine, so now my ta tas feel like this…

Please make sure you get your ta tas checked out! Go get a Mammogram!

Lori,

I have fibrocystic breast disease and my maternal grandmother died of breast cancer so I get to do this twice yearly! Yippee for me...haha You did a great job at making a sincere point through humor here!

Happy Wednesday, my friend.

Lori, this is so funny. I do agree with you how important it is to get these things done, and yes it really is uncomfortable, but so important. Hugs, Marty

That is strange that they had a prisoner sitting out like that, but I guess they need to stay healthy, too!

What a fun way to get an important point across. But a prisoner in the same waiting room as women waiting to get a mammogram - which genius thought that up? Great post. Kathy
