New Year's at the beach

I'm joining Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for another "Outdoor Wednesday"

Make sure you go and visit Susan, so you can see more great photos.  I'm also joining Angie at Seven Clown Circus for wordful Wednesday!

Today, I'm sharing our New Year photos.  We spent it at our beach place.

It was a very windy day at the beach, but the waves were very calm...

Emily made this heart out of shells.  Of course, it says Emily & Colby!  Yep, that's her boyfriend this month..

I hope you enjoyed my beach photos!  Come back real soon!

Was it cold as ice there or what? I thought I was going to freeze on Sunday when we briefly took a trip down to the beach. The wind was killer. The pictures are still gorgeous. Can't get better than the beach, no matter the time of the year! Hope ya'll had fun. I bet I'll run into you all, one day!

Fantastic photos! I love the beach, especially when it's not crowded and you can sit and contemplate things. Wonderful idea to bring in the new year.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting! Oh, I am sure that my husband is not thrilled that our area affords us great weather most of the year to yard sale....it's an addiction!

Funny, I was just at Regina's and she had her name written in the ice on her car. I commented that I was used to seeing things written in the sand and you just proved my point!

This old beach gal is hating the cold weather we're having in Florida. I suffered the heat and humidity all summer waiting for our beach days to start. Now I'm suffering through the cold and wondering if I should go buy some more sweats while I wait for this to pass! lol

Love the beach!

All you have to say is the word "beach" to me, and I'm happy. I love the water more than I can say, and I love walking the beach. That's always been a perfect holiday to me.

Happy Outdoor Wednesday!

XO,

Sheila :-)

I love looking at the water. I don't care if it is the ocean, a lake, a river, or a creek. I enjoy them all. Thanks for sharing...
