Goodwill and the $ Store!

A month ago I went to Goodwill and I found 2 candle sticks for $1.00, and a glass bowl (if you will).  The glass bowl was $2.00.

I used my Gorilla glue and attached the candle stick and bowl.  Sorry I didn't take any photos of the before.

I put some Easter grass in my bowl and then some eggs!

I put some sparkly eggs in and I'm all done!  Quick, easy, and really cute!
I have one candle stick left, but I haven't figured out what to do with it yet. But give me sometime and I'll figure something out!

I made two of these candle sticks and vases for a giveaway and I thought they turned out super cute, so I made one for myself!

I love them all!

What a creative idea. They almost look like small trifle dishes! And the vases with the letters are really neat! You are SO crafty, Lori! ;-)

Well...aren't you just the clever one. Gotta love that Gorilla-glue! Today must be my day finding blogs about their thrift-store finds ... if we weren't moving soon, I'd be out there with ya, looking and digging. But, I think my hubby would flip if he saw me bring more stuff "in" than cleaning "out!" I'm for sure going to keep this in the back of my mind for a future project.

Thanks for sharing and Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest ~j.

Love the way your mind works, Lori. Great ideas. I need a few more for Easter - I'd better hurry, huh?!

BTW, I have a Honda Pilot and I get it serviced at the Honda dealership. It is extremely nice there with lots of perks besides the computers - a snack bar, clean restrooms and even free popcorn and bottled water. Can you believe it?!
